Ramona implicates Ram’s personal assistant

"The personal assistant is to blame."

That’s what Ramona Revilla is saying, now that she has fled to Turkey following the murder of her older brother Ramgen ‘Ram’ Revilla.   In a recorded video sent to ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC), Ramona claimed that Ronald Ancajas, Ram’s personal assistant, has the capability of letting other people inside their house.

Ronald denied Ramona’s accusations. In an interview with ‘TV Patrol’, Ronald said  he cannot do what Ramona is accusing him of since  he is very close to Ram and sees him as a brother.

“Wala pong katotohanan yun. Alam ng Diyos yan. Hindi ko kayang gawin yun. Napakabuti sa akin ‘nun (Ram),” Ronald said in the interview where he hid his face.

He urged Ramona to come back to the country (she has joined her husband in Turkey) and face him. Ronald added that Ramona should not have left the country if she is innocent.

Ramona's taped statement

In her recorded video, Ramona vented her ill feelings towards the accusations (murder and frustrated murder) thrown at her and her younger brother Ramon Joseph ‘RJ’ Bautista.

They are misleading the facts,” Ramona said.

She wants justice served for Ram, as well as for RJ whom Paranaque City Police already arrested. Ramona added that RJ didn’t have a hand in the crime.

Walang ginagawa si Joseph,” Ramona said.

A police probe has shown that conflict among the siblings might have triggered the crime. The siblings were also rumored to be arguing over their monthly allowance from their father, former senator Ramon Revilla Sr.

Ramona, however, denied this.

“For the record, wala pong sibling rivalry sa amin.

Ramona in Turkey

Ramona’s half-brother, Sen. Bong Revilla believes her flight to Turkey is a sign of guilt.  Ramona left the country for Hong Kong last Nov. 7 after retracting a statement where she said her brother’s killers abducted her.  She proceeded to Turkey from Hong Kong.

The Department of Foreign Affairs, through its spokesman Raul Hernandez said it can have Ramona extradited once a court order for her arrest is issued, whereupon it can cancel her Philippine passport.

Ram was stabbed and shot to death in his Paranaque City home last October 28.
